Simon Andrew Founder and Creative Partner

“Simon David Somerville Andrew” would be more than enough names for most people, but not Simon. He’s always on the lookout for new ones. Simon is a copywriter and creative director who grew up in the creative business at Ogilvy and later honed his skills at other international network agencies, including Leo Burnett, BBDO, DDB, FCB and TBWA. While working for these organisations. which are wonderfully creative in everything but their own names, it struck him there might be a gap in the market. Simon believes the best brand name, ever, is Apple. He is equally convinced that there is an even better one out there, somewhere. Perhaps for your new brand? Contact Simon or connect with him on LinkedIn.

Phil Ramsell Founder and Creative Partner

“Philip David Ramsell” has always been fascinated by names and their meanings. His own are no exception. But as someone who could literally be mistaken for a “beloved, lover of horses” from a family of male sheep sellers, he understands the significance of what’s in a name better than most. As an award-winning filmmaker, advertising creative and father, Phil has named everything from TV shows and bubble bath to his own children (and let’s face it, there’s no greater responsibility than that). If you’d like help naming your own babies (real or metaphorical) just drop him a line. Contact Phil or connect with him on LinkedIn.

Inseeyah Stieldorf Associate Namestormer

“Inseeyah Haider Stieldorf” has always been acutely aware that a name carries a lot of weight. When she was younger, she wished she had a name more like “Jane Doe”; many years of wisdom later she understands the value of having such a unique name. In today’s overcrowded brandscape, she knows exactly why it takes a “sticky” name to make you truly stand out. Inseeyah has a BA in English, an MFA in Advertising and Copywriting, and has done all kinds of writing from journalism to advertising. She also spent several years in California, writing for one of our favourite brand names ever – Apple. Find out more about Inseeyah on her website.

Vicky Lara Jacob-Ebbinghaus Associate Namestormer

Vicky is known by many different monikers: “Queen of Copy”, “Annihilator of Pizza” and “Sticky Vicky” to name but a few. As a girl she dreamed of being a trapeze artist, but that dream was crushed when it turned out fear of heights wasn’t a passing phase. She settled for a different type of circus instead: the advertising industry. And has worked as a copywriter at some of the world’s top agencies, winning a bunch of awards for her writing and concepts along the way. Being saddled with a double barrel name that made form-filling a particularly hand-cramping experience, she’s totally devoted to finding names that bring people joy not suffering. Find out more about Vicky on her website.
